Bob Howard Chevrolet is happy to help you custom order a Chevrolet.
In days past, if a car buyer was considering a custom order purchase, it usually meant that it was a rare (and expensive) car or they wanted something very specific. Either way, buyers were willing to pay for the privilege to buy something unique, despite knowing that it would likely take time to finish the special order. The allure of getting a unique vehicle outweighed the wait time rather than just getting a car from the local inventory. These days the landscape has greatly shifted. No longer are there rows of new in stock vehicles to pick from, so if you want something specific, then custom ordering from the factory is now your best option. If you need a car immediately, getting it from the cars available on the lot now is still your best option.
The enjoyable part of custom ordering your new vehicle is that you are able to pick just the tech you want. You can order your car with leather seating, a big navigation screen, and All-Wheel Drive, and it can be your lucky color: black! In the past, you probably would have compromised depending on vehicles that were available. You might be able to get all of the features you wanted, but it was Front-Wheel Drive instead of AWD. Or you could get All-Wheel Drive, but it had cloth seats, not leather. When you custom order, you get what you want.
When you think about it, when you custom order your new vehicle from the factory, you don’t pay for features you don’t need. Perhaps you were looking for NAV and AWD but didn’t care about the vehicle color or leather seats. To be fair, you may not be able to choose every option ala carte, yet by ordering your brand-new car, you can reduce the pricey upgrades. We do suggest that you check out any available option packages, as they tend to have popular upgrades combined together.
If you know what you need, you can save time by ordering your new car. You don’t need to spend your day comparing features, test-driving different cars, etc. All you have to do is schedule some time with one of our sales representatives, and they will educate you on the custom order guide and help you choose exactly what you need. When the delivery day arrives, you can stop in, sign a few papers and leave to enjoy your new ride. The new standard in the car-buying experience is custom ordering.
